Ein deutsches Requiem (J. Brahms) Orféon Pamplonés-Orquesta Sinfónica de Navarra

The Orfeón Pamplonés performs together with the Navarra Symphony Orchestra, closing the orchestra's 2025-2026 season, performing one of the great symphonic-choral works, Ein deutsches Requiem (A German Requiem) by the German composer Johannes Brahms (1833-1897).

It is not a Catholic requiem Mass - with a Latin text and following its usual structure - but it is a meditation on life and death through religious texts (the Bible translated by Luther).

A work of about 70 minutes in length, with soprano and baritone soloists, where choir and orchestra are the protagonists. Complicated and vocally demanding work for the choir.
